I was on a weight roller coaster my whole adult life…until 2022 when I finally got off.

The ride began in my 20s with the joys of motherhood. Each pregnancy brought weight gain, followed by postpartum weight loss, only to see those pounds return within a year. I turned to appetite-suppressing products—pills, drops, and sprinkles—hoping for a solution.

These methods worked temporarily, curbing my appetite and reducing my food intake. Yet, when I inevitably stopped using them, the weight crept back, leading me into the realm of obesity, with all its associated challenges.

At 41, my father's cancer battle compelled me to prioritize my health. I tried a bunch of different diets and workout plans, and I lost some weight at first, but I always gained it back when I stopped following the plan.

My weight loss journey was marked by limitations—restricting calories, food groups, and ingredients. The pandemic flooded me with conflicting health advice on social media, fueling confusion and frustration.

In 2022, I had a major change in my life. I was tired of the never-ending cycle of diets, cleanses, fasts, supplements, and influencer-promoted hacks. I wanted to be free from all that.

I dove headfirst into the science of fat loss, focusing on the balance between how many calories you burn and how many you eat. Through a lot of trial and error, I finally figured out the formula.

My self-experimentation made me an expert in my own right. I crafted a method to break the cycle for good. The BYOE Method. BYOE: Be your own experiment and become your own expert.
